Progression of works - Charity Trading Arm the Purton Red House.

Whilst we are all feeling the pinch of the economic times, the Purton Red House have continued to work hard to bring the vision for this charity space to reality.

We have engaged the services of a builder and will be installing a Disabled Toilet in time for Christmas.  This will be in the corridor next to the current toilets and will have a slide entry electric door to enable less abled bodies ease of access along with wider corridor entry.

The office/staff room will be relocated into the existing Pool Room and the Pool Table will be placed into the main bar area.

The second phase of works will be a commercial kitchen and we are in discussion with designers and experts in this industry.  We are hoping, pending designs, and work schedules to have this installed in the first part of next year with a dedicated restaurant/seating area.

The third phase in 2024 will be the redecoration of the Bar Area pending funds from the operation of the food business.

The vision for this building by the Charity is to continue to provide an “open to all” space for food, entertainment, and public house services.  All profits from these changes, will be ploughed back into the charity to ensure future enhancement, security, and longevity.
