Emergency Plan

Activated in the case of an emergency whereby local support and knowledge will be invaluable to help the emergency response agencies

Purton Parish Council has formally adopted a Parish Emergency Plan at their Council meeting held on Monday 11th December 2016. This plan will be activated in the case of an emergency whereby local support and knowledge will be invaluable to help the emergency response agencies.

The leaflet attached will give residents general information on who to contact and the full report is kept by the Council Office and Wardens for emergency contact of all services available to the community. Wiltshire Council also hold a copy.

The plan will be a living document, updated when required and revisited to ensure we can provide a backup service for the ever changing, increasing village life.

If you have questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact our offices. The leaflet was distributed to all households in January 2017. Copies are available on request.
